Michael has been the Director of Everyday Miracles Peer Recovery Center in Worcester, MA since October 2016. He has more than 20 years of experience with addiction and recovery. Michael recently received his CADAC and his Recovery Coach Certification from the State of Massachusetts. For many years, Michael has been dedicated to working with the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, the Worcester Police Department, the City of Worcester, and other community organizations to help recovering individuals improve their day-to-day lives, realize their goals, and attain a better quality of life.

Leekha is a dedicated young woman in recovery, born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts. She holds an associate's degree in human services and has completed the Recovery Coach Academy. Leekha’s journey led her to explore multiple pathways to recovery and she is passionate about helping others find their own paths. Familiar with the love and loss that comes with addiction, Leekha firmly believes in the transformative change that is possible from addiction to recovery. Music is a big part of her life and recovery, providing both inspiration and solace. As she continues to grow both personally and professionally within the recovery community, Leekha is committed to making a positive impact and supporting those around her.

Kenny has been a Peer Coordinator at Everyday Miracles for 5 years. He has over 23 years of lived experience in recovery and has completed training in recovery coaching, first aid, CPR and tobacco cessation. Kenny is passionate about helping others sustain long-term recovery.

My name is Theresa Buccico and healing is my story. I commenced working for Spectrum Health Systems in the fall of 2017 as a case manager leading me to recovery support in 2022 at Everyday Miracles Peer Recovery Support Center. I am a trained recovery coach and Massachusetts certified peer specialist. I currently serve, empower and inspire people in recovery as the Community Engagement Specialist in Worcester, the community I grew up in.

Roberta Nelson is a woman in long term recovery. She has over 10 years of lived experience in addiction and recovery. Roberta works as a recovery coach at Everyday Miracles and is currently working towards her Massachusetts Certification. Roberta began as a member at Everyday Miracles and with the help of other members started an outreach program called Card of Hope. The Card of Hope program has reached over 300 people in the community and that number continues to grow each week. Roberta is also a life coach and is in the process of starting her own non-profit. Her lifelong desire is to assist, encourage and give hope to as many people as possible.

Alan Young was born in Boston’s South End as a “Methadone Baby”, but would later turn his mess into a message with over 15 years of lived experience in addiction and recovery. It wasn’t until he found Everyday Miracles that Alan really excelled. “EDM saved my life” says Mr. Young having started as a member who walked into the center beaten, battered, and spiritually broken, he has worked his way to a Peer Coordinator position within Everyday Miracles! “I just want to give back what was given to me…LOVE!” While putting the pieces back together Alan is working towards obtaining his Recovery Coach Certification, he runs a local podcast called “A Quarter and A Dream” and has received all his food handler’s certifications through the Culinary Arts program at Quinsigamond Community College. Recovery Is Possible!

Donna is a woman in long-term recovery with more than 30 years of lived experience in addiction and recovery. She works hard at her recovery and lives a full and healthy lifestyle serving her family and her community. She started as a volunteer at Everyday Miracles in 2018, progressed to a position in the leadership development program (LEAP) and is now a new employee as a Peer Coordinator. Donna works a 12-Step program and is very spiritual. She works with other women and loves doing one-to-ones to guide others in their recovery. Donna has completed the Recovery Coach Academy and is working toward being certified in the State of Massachusetts. Donna is also grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren who adore her, and because of recovery, is able to spend time with them and spoil them with love.

Kathy has been working with recovering individuals for more than 20 years with a variety of Worcester-based agencies. Kathy began her own recovery process in 1994 yet has struggled to maintain continuous sobriety. Kathy has almost one year of recovery and Kathy follows a 12-Step program, implementing numerous supports such as meditation, meetings, books, podcasts, her sponsor, her peers, and more. Kathy began volunteering at Everyday Miracles to run the Living Skills Group which addresses various feelings such as anger, resentment, self-esteem, and other topics of importance. When a position opened up for a Peer Coordinator, Kathy was very happy to apply.
